I love every piece I worn in this outfit. Why?

Dear Diary Series | Episode 2
I am officially back to blogging. I was gone for over a couple of months since last year because my netbook couldn’t survive any longer. It had rendered more than 5 years of service to me and now I think it wants to retire. I could still use it if I want to. The boyfriend tried to revive it but nah, too slow already. I planned to buy another netbook this year but my biggest fan is too desperate to read my blogs again, he gave me a new netbook as Christmas gift last December. I literally cried of happiness. Never thought he would actually spend thousands of bucks to show his support on my hobby. Moral support is enough, Babe. Moral support. Oh boy, I would expect a house and lot from you soon. Just kidding! Aaaahhh! Feels so great pressing onto the keyboard. I have too many pending posts but I lost some of my drafts already so I’ll just post some new ones.
Valentine’s Day 2017
If last year our Valentine’s Day was so perfectly planned, this year was kinda spur-of-the-moment. My original plan was to put a dozen of balloons inside his car with pictures or notes dangling on each flying balloon. It actually should be 14 supposedly but well, a dozen is only 12 and there’s no way I could change that. But what happened was so fail. I sabotaged his sister to help me with the set up. I was even on a leave on the 13th just to prepare everything. Monday came and the circumstances had gone cuh-ray-zeee! I wouldn’t tell the story anymore cos I was really disappointed. So the original plan was canceled on the list. Then I thought of just leaving the balloons together with my gift outside their condo on the 14th at early morning. But then again, fate wasn’t so good to me, I woke up late and I had to ran errands before going to work. Ended up I just handled him my gift in the office since we’re now working in the same company. Yay! Talk about perks of being officemates with your lover. if I had just arrived earlier than him, I could’ve placed the surprise on his table.
I knew he had something for me. I might sound too assuming but well, his surprises are never-ending even on normal days. What more on Valentine’s Day? Lol. Early in the morning, he dropped by at my cube with a bouquet of roses. I couldn’t react. I was so kilig I could’ve hugged him but office etiquettes, people. I don’t know but I just don’t get sick receiving flowers. They’re just so beautiful, they can brighten up my day for a week. Jokes. Okay for a month. Or maybe until I receive another flowers. Haha! Anyway, we ended the night with good food. Had dinner at some Chinese restaurant and went somewhere park-like to talk about how our day went. Then he drove me home at midnight but gave me a 500 gigabyte hard disk with movies before he went home. This guy is really practical. Always giving me things I could really use. Well, except for the flowers, of course. Last year he gave me a strolly bag for my travels. He never gave me chocolates or cake which are usually what girls get on V-Day. I told him not to give me sweets cos I sure won’t eat them. I would just stare at them until they melt.
We planned on continuing our Valentine’s celebration yesterday, Saturday. Go to Kartzone again and watch a movie after. But you won’t believe what just happened. I got my period last Friday so I couldn’t drive the go kart. The weather’s too sunny, my monthly visitor wouldn’t like it. Anyhow, we had lunch at some place called Snakyard. It’s actually our first time trying there. I suggested the place since I’ve read some good reviews ‘bout it. And the food was really good. The place isn’t that really big though. Their space is a bit tiny but it will do. I’m glad my boyfriend wasn’t disappointed with the food. Y’know he’s too picky when it comes to his appetite and he would seriously complain. That cute chubby boy!

Sirao Flower Garden | How to get there in less than P100
Sirao is my father’s hometown. I have been there for like a million times already and I never thought the place would be famous for its beautiful flower farm someday. I remember when I was little, my brother and I used to play hide and seek around the gardens and mama would take pictures of us there. The flowers were different then. They were mostly roses and camias.
Just last year, the place became viral over social media. My papa told me the garden is owned by his cousin. They were supposed to sell the flowers in the market but someone went there one day, took nice pictures and just like that, it has spread over Facebook. From then on, locals would come visit the flower farm and take pictures. Unfortunately, some people were very irresponsible. A sea of flowers were little by little destroyed because people were stepping onto them. Poor beauty. I don’t know exactly when it started but the owner decided to ask entrance fee from those who want to visit the garden. It was a blessing in disguise because at that time, his daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia. The owner told my papa that the money they earned from visits is way higher than the profit they would get when they sell it to the market. And so they beautified the area and now it has become more viral. Countless photoshoots happened there.
Recently, my friend from Manila came to Cebu and we brought her to the garden farm as she was dying to see the flowers. Last year I also went there with my boyfriend together with my parents but the place wasn’t that really nice yet. There were only a few rows of flowers. But now take a look at the photos we took. The weather was too moody. Kinda gloomy. We had a hard time chasing the sunlight for just five seconds. Actually there’s two flower farm there. The first one is just a small area and the entrance fee is only P25.00 per head.

The Ilocos-Baguio-Manila Travel
This is really a loooong overdue blog but I’m still gonna share it anyway.
I was on a not-so-long vacation last February this year. The plan was
actually just travel around Ilocos for 3 days but what happened? We went to
Baguio for the second time but just a short drop by.
Actually, I just thought of giving you tips on traveling to
Ilocos. Don’t worry, this is budget-friendly. If you are like us (me and
friends) who travel for leisure, then these things I will list below might
be helpful.
– Book a promo flight. For us, we booked 6 months
ahead of travel period since we still needed to save up for the big trip and
also, we were busy at work. Ilocos is
kinda little costly, just so you know.
– Hire a private van. Preferably someone you know
so you have no worries on leaving your valuables inside the van. But still, be
responsible and extra careful. My
friends and I hired a van whose driver is our officemate from Manila. We also
had him on our Baguio trip last year. We rented the van for 4 days and 3 nights
so it was quite pricey but all worth it. No regrets at all. He picked us up
from the airport and drove us back to Manila. You can also just book a package tour if you don’t have enough contacts.
– Search for places you want to visit and note the
location. What’s so good about renting a private van is that you can go
wherever you want without time limit. Also, we had no fixed itinerary so Kuya
Arbee (the owner and driver of the van) took us to a lot of places as
sidetrips. We also dropped by to some tourist spots along the drive.
– Search for affordable accommodations. If you
come in a group, a dorm type would be preferable. For us, we got two rooms.
Gentlemen separated from ladies. We didn’t opt to stay in luxurious hotels
‘cause we only use the room for sleeping and shower. We are a group of
practical friends actually. We were after the trip, not the sleep. But if you
guys would go for expensive accommodation, I have nothing against that.
– Search for nice restaurants. You wouldn’t want
to miss trying their local cuisine. Just try at least one good food. That won’t hurt the budget. *winks*
Now I’ll just let the photos tell the story.

The Lucky Dress
Frozen Lady
Dear Diary Series | Episode 1
It’s past 1am and as usual, I’m still up. Well actually, I got home late. Had to work so hard I deprive my sleep. Jokes. But really, I was in the office until past 11pm. My boyfriend picked me up though he was with his officemates spending some night out. It was so sweet of him to make sure I get home safe. Every single day of my life I feel so loved and cared about. How lucky should I feel of this.
Anyway, I have an overdue blog supposed to be posted last week but I wasn’t able to ‘cause yknow, I get too lazy at times. But truth is, I don’t want to use my brain on weekends. It’s kinda not very much functional.
Now it’s almost 2am and I really have to sleep now. The boyfriend invited me to attend on their family day tomorrow together with his workmates. Please wake me up at 8am at most. Good night folks.
The Traveler’s Story
I don’t know why but I have a thing for packing things up. Maybe because I got so used of transferring from one place to another. Way back in school days, I transferred schools four times. Imagine the adventure of my life back then. If I only started blogging at 5 years old, I could’ve toured you to places I’ve been to through my photos. My parents’ work involves travel and they used to bring me and my brother along with the trip. I had to adjust living in a city to a province and vice versa. I’m grateful though that it happened it to me. It made me more flexible. As I grow up, adapting to diverse environments is no sweat for me. I could go demure you’d think I’m a mute, and I could go crazy you’d think I’m not normal.
Everytime we packed up before, I would really help them box our things. I love the sound of packaging tapes being pulled, the sound of carton boxes being piled up in the car, and my favorite part? The travel along the road while listening to some mellow music with my headphones on. Then after a long hour drive, I’d wake up to the humidity of air ‘cause guess what, it’s already morning and we almost reach our destination. We usually travel at dawn or in the middle of the night because guys… I’ll just whisper this softly… “we are vampires”. Just pretend you heard my whisper.
Traveling was not always happy times. There were also moments when I didn’t want to leave but we had to. The most heartbreaking relocation I’ve ever had was when I had to leave a place for good. Like never really coming back to stay there, maybe just visit some time. The place is Antique Province. It’s where I lived half of my teenage years. I have best friends there whom I won’t be able to see for a long time.. At first, I didn’t like it there because there were no malls, I didn’t know how to speak their dialect, people slept very early. It was really a province, but somehow I got used to it. I learned their mother tongue in 2 months.
Being used to traveling, on my college days, I barely had time to travel. I was too busy tryin’ to maintain good grades and hung out with friends on weekends. I always looked forward to Christmas break and summer but I didn’t enjoy much. Idk why days fly so fast during vacation when you’re a student. Summer was just like a two-week vacay. You haven’t gone to the beach yet and wear the two-piece you prepared last September, the next week you’re busy chatting your friends about the upcoming enrolment. Oh com’on!
And that is why when I started working, I made a bucketlist of all the places I’ve been dying to visit. It started when I had a four-day vacay in Camotes Island on April 2014. Will post a blog about it soon, though it’s too late. Just let me share my experience. It was followed by an unplanned trip to Antique Province the following month. June, I was at Badian Island. And my last travel for that year was that in Baguio City on August.
This 2016, my first month was so busy and perhaps a good start of the year. My sweetest boyfriend introduced me to his super welcoming relatives.
Just last month, my officemates and I went to Ilocos Sur and Norte, a little sidetrip to Baguio, and Manila City. Next on the list this year would be Kalanggaman or Bantayan Island on summer and hopefully Sagada, Banawe, and Batanes. Hoping for more travels to come while I’m young.
I travel for leisure. I travel to see the beauty of the world with my own eyes. I travel while I still can. I travel for serenity.
The Blogger
Hi. Finally, after a long long long time, I can write again. I’ve been itching to write for years after my netbook died, but now it has resurrected. Much thanks to my brother for fixing it for the nth time. I have taking-care-of-gadgets issue, by the way. Lucky to have a tech-savvy boyfriend and a technician brother.
I am so excited to share with you the story of my life. Well, not really everything. The personal issues are posted on my private blog. As most of you may not know, I’ve been blogging since 2009, but I didn’t open it to public. Sorry guys, couldn’t give you the link. It’s kind of containing rated SPG posts. Lol. Jokes! But really…just forget it existed. You might be intrigued and start to hack my accounts, but I bet you can’t. Even me forgot my password. Happens all the time. In fact, I just retrieved my private blog yesterday, after almost a year. I’m so happy I couldn’t stop writing.
Oh! I forgot i have to introduce myself. Okay, so one summer in 1992, a woman gave birth to a precious baby girl named Jemima. Pronounced as dye-mai-ma. That woman happened to be my mom. 23 years later, you’re reading a blog written by that precious baby girl. Not a baby anymore (at least for you), but still precious and yes, still a girl (fortunately). I am actually turning 24 this year, on April 23rd. By the way, just so you know, I love surprises on any occasion (also even when there’s no occasion at all). No, I’m not even talking about my birthday.
You wonderin’ if I’m the only child? Nope. I have one brother who’s a year older than me. Sometimes he acts like a little brother. I guess most boys do.
I am a native Cebuana. A degree holder of Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Currently working in an IT company.
That’s all for now. Will keep you updated. 🙂
P.S. Blog site construction still ongoing.
This is my official open-diary blog. Launched to public. March 2016.
