Monotone Dressing

I work five days a week and in the office, I’m usually in a corporate attire. Saturday is my favorite day because it’s the only day I can show off some skin without being reprimanded. Sundays are of course for wearing decent dresses. On most Saturdays, I go out on a date and make sure I look somehow pretty. Okay, for that part you may raise your eyebrows.

I don’t know what happened to my fashionista self but on some days, I get lazy on dressing up. Yet I still want to look stylish. My remedy for those days is to wear monotone outfit. I can never go wrong with it. Weeks ago, I went to a thrift shop (again) and my lucky self just found this cute jumpsuit. I knew I had to buy it.

Jumpsuit | Pacific Mall Mandaue thrift shop at P300
I like how comfortable the fabric is and the real comfort it gives when worn.

 Bag | Kimbel at P600

Flat shoes | Zara at $19
The shoes is quite expensive for me but it’s only a gift from my cousin. It’s actually one size bigger but turns out the most comfy flats.

Bag charm | Divisoria at P75
I once bought the same bag charm from a mall. I gave it to my boyfriend’s sister and it’s almost thrice the price of this one. Geez!

Now I know what to wear on windy days.

To complete the look, I did a one-sided messy braid. Actually, it wasn’t that really messy but I was fighting with the wind. Obviously, I lost the battle.

As I grow older, my taste of fashion has changed. Back then, I was so into too much layering and colors. lol. My mother always complained about it. But then, when I started working, I had lesser time to prepare for my outfits, so a whole dress or skirt and top is what I always end up wearing. Sometimes I opt for jeans, too, but not too often. People who say that wearing tight pants is comfortable, enlighten me.
